Agile Development

From 2000-2005 I either used traditional management techniques to realise my projects, or even no management techniques at all. In 2005 and 2006 I spent a lot of time on trying out modern agile development and management methods, which finally resulted in much more efficient project development techniques.

Manifest 2010

In 2010 I worked out an updated version of my agile manifest, although I haven't published it yet, so stay tuned...

Manifest 2005

In 2005 I wrote my own agile development manifest that should have lead to the development of OLEFA NG. Unfortunately the majority of the EducDesign management didn't want to try out modern agile methods and insisted on relying on waterfall-like techniques. Anyway, this manifest describes the basic principles that led to the successful development of CorneliOS, Galaxiki and many other projects.

I can't publish it yet as it seems that I've lost the original text somewhere, I'll put it online as soon as I'll find it...

Agile Manifest

This is the original agile manifest I'm basing my work on:

"We are uncovering better ways of developing software by doing it and helping others do it. Through this work we have come to value:

1. Individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
2. Working software over comprehensive documentation
3. Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
4. Responding to change over following a plan

That is, while there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more."
