Projects and Products

Here are some of my current projects and products, listed in an alphabetical order:

AFELO, the image processing client

AFELO allows to select, resize, process, compress, save and upload images easily. It's the ideal tool for dummies who wish to optimize photos for website display or e-mail. AFELO is freeware, but it's not open source. It is available for Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS X and Linux/UNIX platforms and can be used with OLEFA and FTP servers.

CorneliOS - the virtual web OS

CorneliOS a web based virtual operating system running on top of a host system (any BSD/UNIX system should fit) and offers services via HTML and/or XHTML over the web, which means that you can use it within any web browser without having to install any software on your local computer. CorneliOS can by used via a public Internet webserver or within your Intranet/LAN on a dedicated server (for higher security and/or better performance). It is currently still alpha/beta software, the code is available for free under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Galaxiki - a fictional galaxy anyone can edit

Galaxiki is a web-based virtual and purely fictional galaxy project using wiki technology. The word Galaxiki is a portmanteau of the words galaxy and wiki. Galaxiki consists of over 1 million computer generated stars as well as their planets, moons and other orbital objects which are maintained by the Galaxiki Community. The Galaxiki Community consists of volunteers filling the virtual galaxy with content - e.g. naming stars, planets and moons, describing them, and describing their eventual life forms and their related history. The history of the galaxy is defined by the community, following some rules defined by the galactical board. Galaxiki users are called "Galaxicians". Becoming part of the Galaxiki Community is completely free, and so is editing open stars and their orbital objects as well as participating in the community area (forums, mailing lists, ...). Community members may also purchase stars or free new stars for the Community.

Joopita management, development, marketing and sales project

The Joopita Project is about new management, development (Scrum & Agile), marketing and sales techniques. The entire way the project works is more or less based on Scrum principles.

Music and recording studio

My recording studio if currently down as I moved to a new home a few years ago and I still haven't got the time to rebuild it. That's a shame, but at least I find the time to do some new CD booklets from time to time, such as the latest Born and Chris releases.

OLEFA Information Management System

?| OLEFA is a software collection that allows to manage websites (CMS), users (with LDAP support), databases (SQL), fileservers (SMB/CIFS and AppleTalk) and networks. It also offers a collaboration server including file/directory management, user desktop, wiki tools as well as modules developed especially for the education market (webbooks, online comics, online speech,...). Special features include a ticket request system, image processing tools or a Java based online sound recorder for example. OLEFA is a commercial closed source project available from EducDesign s.a..

Pagan Lorn

Pagan Lorn was my band from 1994-1998. I played the guitar, we released two albums and were rather successful in Luxemburg (comparing concerts/sales to the scale of our country...). I still maintain the unofficial Pagan Lorn website where you can find some information and download our music.

Stag Wards - the movie

Stag Wards is a 3D animation movie I produced around 1998-2000. The movie itself is finished, but the soundtrack has never been really completed - I can't release it using existing movie tracks because of copyright concerns, and my studio is not ready yet so that I can't write my own music for it (or mix some cc tracks for example...).
