Education Platform

In 2011 we intend to launch a new educational platform. It will be completely open, it will be non-profit and free, and it will be available worldwide. It also won't compete with existing platforms in our local country as it will be something completely new and different.

Origins

In 2000 I first presented my vision for a new educational platform. During the following years I turned this vision into a working product called OLEFA. Since 2002 OLEFA has been distributed by local company EducDesign, and it has become the most popular educational platform in Luxembourg.

In 2008 I quit my job at EducDesign, and I was quite sure that I wouldn't design any new platform for the educational market as OLEFA offered all the things I originally wanted back in 2000.

This changed in November 2009, when I started thinking about new possibilites and technologies. This evolved into a new project concept quite quickly, first prototypes went online in 2010. The official BETA Preview release was launched on May 1st 2011.

We hope the final version will be ready during the second half of 2011. You may check out the current Morzino BETA at morzino.com, or you may take a look at the localized version for Luxembourg which is called oli.lu.
